Kendriya Vidyalaya STPS, Suratgarh was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, an autonomous body managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Govt. This is a model school of India which has classes from I to XII. The school has approximately 247 students and 23 qualified staff.

It is noteworthy that Kendriya Vidyalaya is an autonomous body run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Human Resource Development, Ministry of Education, Government. It caters to the educational needs of children of transferable defense personnel of the Central Government. Employees and personnel of All India Services also get the benefit of these schools. Apart from this, other floating population may be admitted subject to availability of seats. The school provides science stream education till class 12th. The school operates in its own spacious building. This school is an Adarsh ​​Kendriya Vidyalaya, one of the few selected Kendriya Vidyalayas in India.
